Want to generate real results and data from your customers?

Pinpoint has spent the last 20 years operating customer loyalty programs of all different sizes for many different clients, and have delivered lifts in activity and overall customer loyalty, through strategic marketing and implementation of these programs.
The concept is simple – reward your customers with points when they complete your company objective. That might be buying more of your product, or perhaps recommending you to more of their friends – you decide.
After they earn their points, they can go online and redeem them for a wide range of rewards.
A common question is “how much is a point worth” well the answer is “it’s up to you!” You decide how many points are rewarded and how they are redeemed. This is a budget driven decision and is different for everyone.

Benefits

Learn more about you customers as you collect data around their activity. Test out marketing ideas and track how successful they are and what results are achieved.
Enjoy ongoing engagement with your customers. As they earn more points, they begin to realise that their reward is just around the corner. Once they redeem a reward, they’ll be loyal to the program and your brand. If someone is excited about the benefits they can get through your program, then they are actively engaged in what you have to say to them.
Benefit from a new channel of communication. Whether you want to talk to your customers through the website, emails or through mail, you can do so using your customer loyalty program.
Engage everyone. If someone is only earning a small amount of points, maybe they’ll redeem for a low points product like movie tickets. If someone is earning a lot of points, maybe they’ll want to save their points for a plasma TV. Either way, both types of customer are engaged.

Different types of customer loyalty programs.

Card based customer loyalty programs. These are probably the most common of all customer loyalty programs and operate around the concept of your customer producing a card at the point of sale. For example, the Westpac Altitude Rewards – members earn points every time they use their Altitude Rewards card to make a purchase. The same could be said for the Myer One card – if a member produces this card at certain stores at the point of purchase, they will earn points to use towards rewards.
Portal based customer loyalty programs. In this loyalty platform, customers are encouraged to visit a website to register their purchase. This can be done through a number of ways, whether it be quoting a unique code on the product, or attaching a copy of their receipt. More effort is required by the customer to register for their rewards, but often this can be a cheaper option than a card based program.
