Retention initiatives are a paramount part of any marketing strategy but what do you do when your purchase is infrequent or you don’t have a large allowable to make a points program worthwhile?
Thank you programs are the perfect solution to reward customers once a year (or as required) for their loyalty and profitability to a brand. They also provide a less risky commitment to customer loyalty as the program can be changed or removed at any time. It is all about providing customers with a thank you that is unexpected.
Pinpoint’s has developed and implemented in 2007 and 2008 several such programs which:
- Segment large banking and telco bases providing a concept of tiering which allows our clients to reward customers at different allowable rates based on various criteria such as tenure and profitability eg. Bronze, Silver, Gold.
- Within each tier provide a broad range of reward choice to the customer eg. The customer gets something they actually want as per the flexibility with a points program
- Provide rewards with a high perceived value than the true cost to the client.
- Provide rewards which reflect the brand’s key values and positioning. Tailored, personalised and branded fulfilment continues this experience via our one stop shop fulfilment facilities
- Provide a user friendly web platform which allows customers to choose their reward online.
- A code is sent to eligible customers as part of the initial communication exercise (eg. DM, SMS or email) which only allows them to access their level and choose a reward once.
